Fiction and Lie

 

Here is my response to given discussion.

“Fiction is the lie through which we tell the truth.”

As per Plato's point of view all poets are lairs and Fiction is the part of lie . Words like truth-fact and Fiction-Lies it seems like similar, but Here we find different between 'Alternative Fact' and 'Fiction' ,or difference between 'fiction' and 'lies' .The word 'Fiction' means 'Imagination' about something. 'Alternative Fact' means about the existence of any subject . Here Ursula K. Le Guin's views on difference between. 'Alternative Fact' and 'Fiction' .He give one example that Sun rises in the East is a fact, but Sun can rise in the West is a fiction, to claim that it does so as fact or alternative fact is a lie. Literature is a part of Fiction and also 'Alternative Fact' For example in Harry Potter we can find magical things but in real life we cannot do those kind of thing so it is a fiction .
